I am now busy finalising arrangements for this Fair and will publish a full list of stall-holders in a few days time, once it is finalised. I can already confirm that Tom Roe is coming down from Lancashire, and there will be two other local stall-holders as well as myself, Paul Gibbs from Liskeard and Paul Buck from Teignmouth.
It is a spacious venue so we can easily accommodate up to twelve stands. Any collector with surplus stock they wish to offload is very welcome to join us as a atall-holder, please send me a PM and I'll let you have all the details.

Although the majority of attendees will be Argyle collectors, the South West Fair is organised for the benefit of Programme and Memorabilia collectors of all clubs (not just Argyle).
The aim of the Fair is to create a relaxed atmosphere in which enthusiasts can meet, chat, buy and sell in a friendly, convivial environment.
We always have Torquay and Exeter collectors attending the fairs at Home Park. This year we shall also be welcoming a very keen Millwall collector living in Cornwall who has a number of specific 'wants' - and he is hoping a visit to Home Park on January 29 might lead to him finding some of the following programmes:
Millwall first team League AWAYS: 1945/6 Newport; Swansea; Leicester; Luton; 47/8 Coventry; 48/9 Newport; 49/0 Northampton; Torquay; Walsall; Exeter; 50/1 Torquay; Port Vale. 51/2 Port Vale (1/5); 52/3 Torquay; Walsall; Swindon; Colchester; 53/4 Coventry; 54/5 Watford.
He is also seeking some 1940s first team friendlies, Reserve issues pre 1989/0; many youth issues and tickets; any ephemera and lots of Pre War.
If any PASOTI readers know of anyone who might be able to help him with his collection, he would be extremely grateful. Please send me a PM and I'll pass on the information.
I should also mention that Tom Roe, the memorabilia and ephemera dealer from Lancashire who will be attending, always has an impressive array of top quality vintage items from a wide variety of clubs on his stands at the many fairs he attends throughout the length and breadth of the country. He is hoping his visit to Home Park may result in collectors in Devon and Cornwall bringing in surplus items that they wish to dispose of that he can acquire to take back to the North-West where he will find a good home for them.
Again, if any PASOTI readers know of anyone who might be able to help him, please send me a PM and I'll pass on the information.

As seen from the above posting, Paul Richardson has become the tenth stall-holder at the Fair - thus almost certainly making this one of the largest Fairs to be staged at Home Park.

Home Park will be busy on Sunday morning, as the Green Taverners will be holding their weekly Car Boot Sale on the Upper Home Park Car Park and the Players will be training in preparation for Tuesday's game at Yeovil, in addition to the Programme Fair.
Please can Programme Fair patrons, therefore, use the Park & Ride car park.
To gain access to the Fair, patrons may walk through the Car Boot Sale and use the double gates adjacent to Turnstile 26 (i.e. opposite the Club Office Reception), gaining access to the Tribute Lounge via the lower set of steps. (The main entrance to the Grandstand is not being used for the Fair - it is reserved for the Players.)

Is there any point in bringing up some old style subbuteo sets, will any of the stall holders be interested in buying?

Greetings all

First of all good luck at the fair....I wish I could have found the space to get down as I have loads to sell but it was not to be...that said you will be well catered for.

On subbuteo there a re a couple of dealers who specialise...I sold some bits I had to Tom Rowe who is attending ( expect a hard haggle though!) but there a re some collectors on the Programme Collectors Forum as well...

I also sold some bits for decent prices through ebay...older the better and complete team ( especially the old heavyweights can go quite high so worth checking what you have on there before flogging!
