Surely the Party aren't that desperate to remove Theresa.

This has all been stimulated by Nigel Farage. He almost goaded JRM to go for it on his LBC radio show. The only good thing to come out of it would be that government would be contested by two individuals that had never held a cabinet or shadow cabinet position. Giving the elites something to chew on.

If Rees-Mogg isn't part of the elite is hard to imagine who would be.

JRM against gay marriage and abortion under any circumstances

Aaaand that'll be the end of any chances he had of becoming Tory party leader. Tim Farron resigned as LibDem leader for less than that.

Let's hope so, but 1) this is the Conservative party and 2) this is 2017. Normal rules don't seem to apply any more. I'd imagine that if he polls well with the general public the Tory MPs would be very tempted to put him into the final 2 that go into the runoff with the party membership, amongst whom he's wildly popular.

Any 'Leader' who be 'stimulated' by Forage ( ) or 'goaded' to go for it, is not, in fact, fit to be a leader. Another Music Hall Act from the Boris Johnson Hall of Variety. Roll up, roll up!!

('who be 'stimulated'?? WTF!!??
Mrs Pogle do be from Baaaarfff she do be and I do be catching the lingo, I do be!!)
