She honestly thinks that joe public will fall for the idea that First's winning of the franchise is because of what they can offer the passenger? I think you just have to look at the other First franchises to see what the passenger gets.

I use Worst Late Western on a regular basis, out of necessity not choice, and I'm genuinely appalled that they've been given another franchise.

I wonder when, if ever, a party came to power with an actual majority of the population? People witter on about the Tories have done this and that, but go to Labour and the behaviour is replicated, the Lib Dems don't really count and the rest are joke parties.

They are all as bad as each other, Labour aren't always right, neither are the Tories, but one thing is consistent, they are all interested in manipulation of figures, misrepresentation of fact and childish finger pointing.

"ooh look Labour have got us into huge debt" - Tory spokesperson

"ooh look the Tories have not sorted out the debt issue and it's got worse" - Labour spokesperson
