I would love to know the selection process for appointing a football manager. Clearly none of those involved in appointing Mowbray could have looked at the League One table and seen where Coventry City is. Okay, so he wasn't to blame for the financial mess at Coventry but he could not manage in spite of it and the team got worse under his tenure. Now he lands up at a club which is in at least as bad a state. Rovers are losing £1M pcm and are £120M in debt. I am not saying who would be better; I just feel that Mowbray is too fresh out of the Coventry mess and didn't pull up too many trees before that.

I would love to know when they started communication as management appointments in football appear to happen a lot quicker than the recruitment process in any other industry!
