If the FA had been asked what the ideal draw would be they would have wanted all the Premier League sides kept apart and the big 5 teams to be drawn away. They certainly wouldn't have wanted non Premier league sides drawing each other and the big teams knocking each other out and devaluing their competition. I wonder what the odds were of keeping 8 out of 16 teams apart? Will the heated balls conspiracy theory raise its head again?
