Ok, well good to see them get a play off place I mean. Feel a bit sorry Scotland because they missed out on goal difference.

And Wales getting to the semis in the Euro's and then not qualifying I wonder if that has ever been done before?

It happens more often than you'd think. Just as a couple of examples, the Czech Republic were finalists at Euro 96 and failed to qualify for France '98. Greece failed to get to the 2006 World Cup having won Euro 2004.

And not forgetting England, who didn't qualify for the 1994 World Cup having played in the semi-finals at Italia 90.
