Northampton Council have now petitioned for the club to be put into administration on Monday - is it still an automatic 10 point deduction if that happens? If so, I suspect they can be ruled out of the promotion race this season.

The winding up petition has been adjourned for two weeks to allow a take over at the club although an administration petition hearing is scheduled three days before that deadline.

Local news reporting that the deal is likely to go through but also saying that the police have raided Sixfields and taken away paperwork etc as evidence.

Wow, police cuts must be quite severe up there. It was 15 October when voice of reason first posted information about the missing loan money and they only raided the scene of the crime yesterday?
