The Energency loan window closed Thursday. Free agents released outside the transfer window cannot sign for a new club until the next transfer window (in this case the summer). Anyway, I guess if he's needed to be released at this time of the year for personal reasons he probably isn't thinking about looking for new club anytime soon.
