Pretty sure he said he wouldn't walk out of a club again until the end of his contract...

Why would anyone believe what he has to say?

I've heard he loves Blackpool and wants to be there for years though......

Nice to read an article where we are referred to as Plymouth Argyle...

On this occasion, I wouldn't blame Holloway for leaving.

Perhaps he shouldn't have opened his big gob last week and said he'd NEVER leave a contract early again, but I don't think many can blame him for wanting to move.

Palace are a bigger club IMO, and Blackpool's momentum is slowly running out now.

Agreed, I have been watching Blackpool whenever they are on sky/ football league show etc... and it seems that they don't have that spark that they had when they were in the prem, and the season leading up to the year in the prem. They don't seem as fluent as they once were, maybe it is a good move for both parties like an earlier poster said.

I heard he wanted to paint Blackpool tower orange and was getting "I LOVE BLACKPOOL ROCK" tattooed on his forehead. Must be staying!

Staying or going?

Quote:
Holloway was due to hold talks with his chairman Karl Oyston on Friday.

Palace are confident they can meet Blackpool's compensation demands for the 49-year-old, leaving the decision down to the Seasiders boss.

Holloway did not join the team on their journey to Derby, although he often travels separately to away fixtures.

He took training as normal on Friday morning.

Well if he isn't happy about it, then he's mental.
Holloway is a quality manager. End of.

Holloway's timing is questionable once again, but Blackpool are tin-pot and maybe he didn't see a return to the Premiership on the cards.
