Watched the Cardiff v Leeds game the other day and he has come on so much! I saw him for Brighton a few times last year but he is getting better and better with every match in that division. He is a fantastic winger! The way he was toying with the full backs reminded me of some real top class wingers of past and present and I think he will go all the way to the top. With or without Cardiff he will be in the premiership within the next two years! Could he make the great journey from us to Liverpool within 5 years? I wouldn't bet against him! Such a great spot by argyle but such a great loss to us as well! It is nice to see ex players doing so well though!

Completely agree, we really miss having him about. He's definitely doing well for himself and it'll be good to see Noone supplying Mason with crosses if they ever get a chance to properly play together at Cardiff.

Sturrock's "second wave" of signings were brilliant. What a find to bring Noone here from Skemersdale! Argyle would have been a rich club had we kept hold of these players.

Be good in a couple of seasons to see Noone lining up in the Premiership against Man City, with their new £10M goal-scoring sensation Rhys Griffiths replacing Tevez.

Some where, but who was it that spotted the talent in the second wave??? A scout ? did their agents approach us ( sure I heard that Bolasies agent send a DVD or he just turned up one day...?) Don't believe that Sturrock went and found them, granted he was the one that requested their signing..but then he did the same with MacClean..... :D

Mackie, Noone, Bolasie?

When he signed MacLean first time round for Sheffield Wednesday he couldn't stop scoring.

Is your man. He also recommended Albert Adomah. Left when Sturrock did.

Barnes was another really good find. I was impressed with him from the start, but felt he was never given a real chance. Along side Mackie he looked good and I can't recall if Noone ever played with the two of them at the same time. What I would give to have the three back up front. How come we did so badly when we had so much talent then?
