Now the situation has settled it wouldn't surprise me to see a few of Argyle's younger players loaned to Truro in the next few days.

It's not a bad level for the likes of Lecointe to get some first-team experience.

It's been on the cards for months now, slow lingering death then back to playing Newquay and St Austell

I lived in Truro for 20 years and got the pee ripped out of me for supporting Plymouth Argyle.
Merciless pee taking from the Truronians wearing their Man Utd, Liverpool, Chelsea, Tottenham shirts... Even the odd Blackburn shirt when they threatened to become a Premier League force.

Since leaving Cornwall, pee ripping and persecution has been replaced by banter and respect. No hate towards Argyle from those outside of the South West, funny that?

So... no sympathy for Truro City from me, they can get back to wearing their Big 4 shirts and watching sky, I'm sure they'll forget about Truro City in no time.

Oh, and good luck for the operation Kevin

My sentiments exactly. My apathetic indifference towards TCFC was replaced by active hostility as soon as they started taking pleasure in our demise.

Feel sorry for the few dozen hardcore fans, but they must have known they were operating way out of their depth.

I can't see anything else.

They cannot afford an unfunded administration with no assets.

What exactly would a potential buyer of the club get for their money apart from a load of debt to pay which no doubt includes the £1.4m owed to Heaney?

I saw few days back that the ground and land had been sold to some geezer who was the Chairman of Salisbury ??
£2.2 million ?? The company buying it was founded in June by this chap - just him ?? He paid the last wages and their was a mini upset because of the ''dual interest'' role.
Got me thinking that maybe that was the ''money line'' used by Heanious last year but just didn't come off - thank the Lord.

So number 1 team in Cornwall ?? I'll throw in Botallack Ladies FC reserves.
