He signed a three year deal last summer so I can't imagine Barnet will let him go for cheap.
He would be good and I feel he would suit our style of play.

Would be signing of the season, as scores for fun in a crap team. Wet dreams time., but no chance,.

We will not be spending a pound on transfers, let alone a million

We spent £15,000 on Blissett. So whilst I don't think we will spend £1m as we don't have it, we may spend something. Albeit peanuts.

Speculation. But based on DA's career history. Agreed, if we spend anything it might be for a non-league player, but otherwise all cash will go on wages for out of contract players.

Rumoured to be interested in him alongside Rotherham and Bradford. Could be the goal scoring striker we desperately need.

He's got a couple of years left on his deal at Barnet so they aren't going to let him go for cheap. I doubt we could afford the transfer fee.

Sooner or later, we will need to spend some money IF we are to compete in a realistic way.

Freebies are NOT going to be the way to reach The Championship, I believe.

John Akinde would be a "wee gem" for us but not as a freebie.

He is a player that could make ALL the difference between success and failure in League 1

Barnet will want close to £1m. It's not even slightly realistic.

I really not sure what Argyle fans are expecting.

Akinde is just not in our budget. We get free transfers and nominal fee transfers.

We pick up players who haven't done it at other clubs, are injury prone or have gone unnoticed in a bad team.

He would be a brilliantly signing but Argyle weren't even in a position in the championship to pay 1 million fees for players.

Until Argyle get a rich sugar daddy players like this will always be off the radar. People hoping this is going to change any time in the near future will be very disappointed unless Argyle suddenly find a "money man".
