Seems to be clickbait rubbish, which the Herald apparently specialises in these days.

There is literally no chance of us ponying up the cash to pay for him - and that's not a criticism of JB, it's just not a realistic proposition.

An absolutely ridiculous story. Bogle is rated at £1 million with Nottingham Forest and Wigan supposedly interested in signing him in January.
A quick bit of research would have shown this story is comical.

Another example of newspaper editorial without responsibility. It is just the Herald. The nationals are as bad about writing stories of Player A being pursued by Club with transfer figures in the region of £X being bandied about. When it proves to be false, nobody cares and the cycle is repeated.

In answer to the original question, we bloody well should be.

In truth however we don't have a hope in hell.

Every year fans believe we should be signing the best scorer in the division.

As if we just ask the club if they will accept a pittance, and they respond 'sure no problem', and we just sign him.

The Herald obviously see more potential in making teenage fans excited and getting more internet hits than in good reliable reporting.

I haven't clicked the link but I bet any money it is that Jak Ball who writes some horrendous clickbait crap. I'm sure Errington found himself an intern to write all the dross articles he does because he can't bring himself to do it.

Seems as though Barnet are looking to sign Ormar Bogle to play with Akinde....

Who would you rather have? Bogle or Akinde?

Why would he go to a smaller club that's lower in the league on what I would imagine would be less wages?

Where the bleddy hell did a piddling little outfit like Barnet, yes BARNET, get £250K to throw around?

Who knows, fair play to them though. If they land him then their front two is by far the best in this league. Barnet fans must be chuffed with the club showing a bit of ambition.

I cannot say the name, but I know for a fact that Argyle have enquire about a L1 striker who has been sticking the ball in the net, on loan, but he has turned us down. The player he has been keeping out is due back soon, and he is likely to be on bench again, but he doesn't want to drop a division.

Other than turning us down, the key point is that it seems to show that we are not looking for a permanent striker.
