Happy with that! There was huge fanfare when he signed for Celtic from Dundee United, even taking Henrik Larsson's old number 7 shirt.

Wasn't particularly successful at Pompey, but he was very young and that was Premier League/Championship level.

To be signing someone who was Celtic's first-choice striker two years ago, isn't bad :thumbup:

I see on Wiki that he came back from his loan at a Polish club to Celtic in June with an ankle injury. Even if it's healed he will be short of a decent pre-season.

Bit of a hot head but I don't mind that so long as it doesn't cross the line. Like all the best Argyle signings, they have to have a flaw of some sort, or we wouldn't be able to get them.

Bloody good signing if it comes off. Seem to recall him having no little skill. But didn't remember him as a striker, more an attacking midfielder/in the hole type player?

It's always been obvious that he's talented. Definitely fits the type of forward we need.

Adams could be the perfect manager to get him knuckled down, settled and firing, as he has done with many a player before.

Scored a lot of goals for Dundee, hasn't really made it at Celtic though and has been loaned out twice already.

If we can get the Dundee version of him then this could be a great signing.

Is this our first Turkish player?

It was Dundee United, Dundee are a different team.

My wife's from Dundee - does her head in.

Alternatively ask Luggy for guidance.

Appeared to have shared the same contact weakness as Luis Suarez [ex-Liverpool]! Feed him enough Dewdney's, that will break a habit. This guy in playing terms, could be the best loanee since Scott Sinclair. Bring him on DA, let's see him with a full green shirt on his back. Welcome South, Nadir.

As a Celtic fan also would be happy was a scoring sensation at Dundee united but never recreated that form once at Celtic think just needs a run out and be confident, hopefully get the Dundee united version of him.
