Less than? : :?

I thought Brent said there was a competitive budget.

Regardless blondie would know the wages of one particular player so that's a welcomed insight regardless of the "less" or "more" argument.

What's wrong with "less than" in that sentence? blondiegirl is saying that most players (apart from the very, very few who are not) are on more than £700pw which can thus be taken as evidence that the budget cannot be tight because most players on >£700pw adds up to a lot of money with few players being paid a "small" amount. I'm confused about what you are confused about P@blo.

I think he means budget left over, so because we are spending the majority on players which is over £700 a week, we have none left over to spend on other players, therefore we are no longer competetive  I was slightly confused at first

SurreyGreen - that didn't help at all. I now can't decipher what two of you are trying to say.
Perhaps it's just me!
