He's signed a new 1 yr contract with Burnley but might not figure much in the 1st team - they've signed Sam Vokes from Wolves and also have Charlie Austin.

Think he'd be a decent addition to our squad, maybe on loan. Saw him play against Accrington when he scored twice in our 4-0 win - happy days...

He'd be an amazing signing but I think Eddie Howe was well persuaded to help out an old mate and loan him to a League Two club. He should've been on loan at a League One team last season, and definitely this season. Nonetheless, if we could get him, I'd be very excited about the new season.

He'll go to League One on loan. I imagine if he was available, he'd be wearing green by now.

He probably wants to try and force himself into the starting 11 at Burnley, so I can't see him being interested in a loan move to a League 2 club. Especially not with our location, hasn't his missus given birth recently?

Wouldn't mind being proved wrong though..

Friend of mine who's a Burnley fan says he wasn't in the 23 man squad for their friendly v Rochdale on Tuesday night - they lost 3-1.
