Would not be surpised to see Wotton try and get Fletcher out and claim the job for himself

He is that type of guy

Do you honestly think that you have a better understanding of professional football than a former Premiership player and International captain?

Why don't you apply for the job next time it comes up?

Fletch may struggle in his role, he may turn out to never be a good manager however his understanding of the game will always be far superior to anyone who has not played professionally.

And what is it that us 'everyday' fans can all see? Because looking through these pages, not even the fans can agree on exactly where we are going wrong at the moment.

Also, you site Fletcher's apparent lack of managerial skills as a reason to beleive the rumour that he stormed out. When has Fletcher ever been unprofessional? I think has needlessly been sent off but apart from that, a model pro in my opinion.

Feel a bit sorry for him really he's probably giving it absolutely everything he's got to try and make a success of his first managerial job

Somehow, I think JB is too sharp to fall for a wheeze like that. If the manager's CV is under scrutiny, just where is Wott's Premiership experience or his caps? He would also need to command respect in the dressing room, remember.

I have information. I cannot prove what I'm about to share, but I know this is true. If you choose not to believe me, then I understand. However, do not tell me that I am making this up, because I know I'm not, while you do not know.

Carl Fletcher was in his office until at least 6.40 yesterday evening, and was speaking to Lee Clark and Terry McDermott (Birmingham manager and assistant manager) until roughly 5.40. The meeting with other managers is not uncommon. I am unsure whether Carl spoke to his players after the game or not but he did not "storm out" of Home Park after the game. Both him and Romain were relatively relaxed entering (and leaving in Romain's case) the manager's office.

I am unsure where the thread suggests Carl "stormed off" to, but if it's meant to refer to him leaving Home Park, then this is definitely untrue. If it is simply suggesting he did not speak to his players, then I admittedly have no clue. I obviously wasn't in the Argyle dressing room!

Knew this was bullcrap.

Fletcher Isn't the sort of person that would 'storm' out like that. Understandably he may have been angry but he wouldn't do that.

Just a sour rumor made up by a grumpy old fan trying to stir up some controversy.

That's the one, AKA. Bradley Wrong-Phillips, Rory 'Tommy Tynan' Patterson, Walton the malingerer and I think the latest one trotting about is the 'Purse is fat' one... :wtf:

King Tynan.

The other part of the Evans double act is Green Grandad.

If you go to a person's older posts their original names are still visible if one of their messages are quoted by someone else.

Annoying isn't it, I would have immediately disregarded this rumour if I'd realised who had written it.

It is annoying Tavy but just go back through the thread and see how many were actually quite prepared to make a "pasoti fact" of a couple of lines of completely contrived bullish!t.
