We really needed Preston to get a draw today, but even more so after the gift goal their Keeper presented to Dykes, but it wasn't to be unfortunately.
With Leeds and Coventry still to play, its was quite possible that QPR would only finish on 47 points, but that's all academic now.
6 weeks ago, it looked as if 48 points would be comfortable but it looks more like 50 is required now.
We really need Blackburn to beat Sheffield Wednesday tomorrow but based on recent results at the top and bottom of the Championship, after beating Leeds Away last week, Blackburn will probably lose at Home tomorrow.
The Huddersfield v Birmingham game next week is looking really significant, especially as they finish the season with Ipswich (a) and Norwich (h) respectively.
